Kigali, May 14, 2025 — The Don Bosco Hospitality Center in Kigali hosted a press conference today under the theme “Advocacy for Inclusivity in Don Bosco TVET Schools in Rwanda.” The event was organized by the Salesians of Don Bosco in the Africa of Great Lakes Province.
This advocacy initiative aims to promote equal access to quality technical and vocational education for all youth, with a particular focus on marginalized and vulnerable groups. The Salesians reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Rwanda’s national agenda for inclusive and skills-based education.
The campaign is made possible through the generous support and continued funding from Don Bosco Tech Africa, channelled via its Development & Planning Office (DPO) in collaboration with Don Bosco Youth Education for All (DBYEA). Their contribution has been instrumental in strengthening Don Bosco TVET centers across Rwanda.
Don Bosco education centers remain strong partners of the Government of Rwanda, actively participating in initiatives that boost youth employability and innovation through hands-on training.
The press conference attracted national media coverage from outlets including Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA), Izuba Radio, ATV, Real Rwanda, and others.
