Kabgayi, Muhanga District, Rwanda – On Friday 8 May 2026, Don Bosco Youth Education for All (DBYEA) NGO delivered hygiene kits, sports kits, clothing, and food supplies to young people in Muhanga District today, Friday, 8 May 2026.
The donation was made at Don Bosco Kabgayi Scolasticat and led by Mr. Felicien DUSABIMANA, the DBYEA Accountant. The items were received by Fr. Augustin Cesar HABANABAKIZE, Director of Don Bosco Kabgayi Scolasticat, on behalf of the youth participating in programs at the center.
“This donation reflects our commitment to support young people across Rwanda with the practical resources they need to learn, grow, and contribute to their communities,” said Mr. Feliciano Dusabimana. “By addressing immediate needs, we help youth stay engaged in education, skills training, and personal development.”
Irene Charles, a regular participant at the Kabgayi Oratory, spoke on behalf of the youth:
“When there aren’t enough sports kits, many children can’t take part. The number of young people coming for sports keeps growing, and without equipment, some have to sit out. These donated kits will have a significant impact on our leisure activities and make it possible for more of us to play together.”

Fr. Augustin Cesar thanked DBYEA for the support, noting that materials like hygiene kits and sports equipment directly help remove barriers for vulnerable learners.
DBYEA is an independent Rwandan NGO based in Kigali, officially launched on 6 May 2025. The organization works nationwide to empower youth through education, rights, sports, culture, and sustainable practices.
During the reporting year October 2024 to June 2025, DBYEA implemented programs focused on inclusive education, vocational skills development, gender equity, digital transformation, and employability. Key activities included capacity building for TVET teachers, stakeholder dialogue forums, strengthening of job services, and advocacy for inclusive education. These interventions align with Rwanda’s national priorities in skills development, digital education, gender equality, and youth employment.
DBYEA plans to expand its outreach to more districts across Rwanda in the coming months.
